Recovery Coaching

Recovery Coaching

In 2010 I received my diploma as a Certified Drug and Alcohol counselor. I gained experience working as a CASAC at Arms Acres treatment center in Carmel, NY. There, I facilitated group, family, and  individual therapy sessions. I led interactive dynamic classes in REBT/CBT. I also saw patients discharged without proper support and felt coaching was the missing link in the aftercare plan for many of these patients. Coaching provides that bridge back to life. Shortly thereafter I founded Spain Integrative. I have offices in New York and in California also.

I work with clients in all stages of sobriety and I am familiar with all the major recovery programs (AA., SMART Recovery, Refuge Recovery and more…), and treatment centers throughout the country. My personal experience and broad base of knowledge has prepared me to work with my clients to find recovery programs, therapists, psychiatrists and treatment options suited to individual needs and preferences.

My goal as a CASAC, CHHC and CPC is to empower clients to make real and lasting changes. Through coaching, my clients gain the support and confidence they need to move forward and develop new habits that sustain thier on going development. Through partnership, my clients experience a new sense of hope as they work through the potential difficulty and frustration of making different life choices. The goal for my clients is to take action and make the necessary changes to grow and ultimately thrive.
